Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is an art museum located in the Museumpark in Rotterdam Centrum, close to the Kunsthal and the Natural History Museum. The museum opened in 1849, and it houses the collections of Frans Jacob Otto Boijmans and Daniël George van Beuningen. In the collection, ranging from medieval to contemporary art, are works of Rembrandt, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, and Salvador Dalí.
The museum shop Boijmans Van Beuningen has an extensive collection of art books, monographs, overviews and catalogues about the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. A wide choice of stationery, gadgets and everyday items are designed by famous Rotterdam designers such as Hella Jongerius and Richard Hutten, Scholten & Baijings, Studio Jeroen Wand, Cor Unum, Goods and Hay.
